BUU is celebrating an historic breakthrough after it was approved as a doctoral degree-granting unit, with two new doctoral degree authorization points in Archaeology and Cultural Relics.

The university now has a complete degree authorization system of ‘Bachelor, Master, and Doctor’ following the announcement by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee on September 30th.

BUU has implemented the requirements of classified development and made every effort to build a high-level application-oriented university with international renown and domestic first-class standards.

Currently, BUU has one first-level discipline authorized for a doctoral degree, one doctoral professional degree authorization category, 11 first-level disciplines authorized for a master's degree, and 18 master's professional degree authorization categories, totaling 31 degree authorization points, covering 11 major disciplines.
