Opportunities for co-operation in education, psychology-related research, continuing education and talent development were the main topics of discussion when a delegation from the Russian Institute of Psychoanalysis, led by President Lev Surat, visited Beijing Union University in May.

BUU President Lei Xingshan and Vice President Chang Hongmei welcomed the visitors and introduced BUU's development, academic strengths and applied-education focus. “I hope this meeting will help deepen academic dialogue and create more practical co-operation between our two institutions,” said Lei.

Surat thanked BUU for its reception and echoed the President’s sentiments. “China's progress in education and psychological services is well-known,” he said. “Our institute hopes to expand mutually beneficial co-operation with BUU.”

Chang outlined BUU's international education programs and experience in Sino-foreign co-operation. “Future collaboration could include joint research, exchange visits and broader academic engagement in related disciplines,” she said.

After the meeting, the delegation visited BUU's College of Arts, gymnasium and library. Representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Co-operation and the Teachers' College also attended the talks.
