A delegation from Taiwan Shu-Te University, led by Vice President Su Zhonghe, was warmly welcomed in September by BUU’s Vice President Chang Hongmei as both parties looked at improving and deepening the two institution’s ties.

Chang Hongmei introduced BUU’s history and current development, while also reviewing the history of collaboration between the two universities. “We both share similarities in the field of art and design, which has established a solid foundation for cooperation,” she said. “I hope both universities can use their respective strengths to expand into new areas and disciplines and build on the existing foundation of cooperation.”

Representatives from the Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs and College of Arts also participated in the reception.
