BUU students triumph in Russian University Dubbing competition
The vocal talents of students from the College of Urban Rail Transit and Logistics won first prize in the 9th Beijing University Russian Dubbing Competition.
A total of 7 teams from 13 universities including Beijing Foreign Studies University, Renmin University of China, University of International Business and Economics, Minzu University of China, Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing International Studies University and Beijing Union University participated in the competition, with the students interpretting the clips of classic film and television works such as "Catherine II: Rise", "Chernobyl Restricted Zone", "Ivanovs", "Mamma Mia", "Fighting Nation Cultivation" and other classic film and television works.

The event, held in early April, was part of the 26th "Suyu" Russian Language Culture Festival and the 17th Beijing University Russian Dubbing Competition was held in Beijing University of Foreign Chinese.
Igor Poznyakov, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Beijing and Representative of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education in China delivered a speech during the event.

The competition is also interspersed with various programs such as choral singing and recitation. At the same time, the 17th "Su Language" Russian Culture Festival series of activities - Matryoshka Carnival was also held. The festival will run until May 5.
