BUU’s Vice President Chang Hongmei put the university on the world stage when she addressed more than ten international universities and educational institutions at a special conference in March.

Speaking at the International Student Science and Technology Conference, held at Moscow University for the Humanities on the theme of ‘The World Around Us - Human, Society, Nature’ she said: “BUU is ready to welcome teachers and students from all over the world to come to Beijing Union University for exchange and study.”

Chang Hongmei extended warm congratulations to the conference on behalf of BUU. She reviewed the achievements made in various fields over the past 18 years of cooperation between the two universities, and reported on BUU’s international links with other universities, “I hope that teachers and students from all over the world will conduct in-depth thinking and discussion on the theme of this conference.”

She was joined by representatives from Moscow University for the Humanities, Polotsk State University of Belarus, and Almaty Management University in Kazakhstan, which was held simultaneously using the "online + offline" mode.
