International Conference on Transportation and Traffic Engineering 2018 was held at BUU

From February 21 to 23, the 7th International Conference on Transportation and Traffic Engineering (ICTTE 2018), hosted by the College of Urban Rail Transit and Logistics of BUU and co-organized by the Universidade Lusófona, Portugal, was held in BUU. More than two hundred people attended the conference, including experts and scholars in the field of transportation from more than ten countries and regions, as well as teachers and students of related majors in BUU.

At the conference

Professor Li Xuewei, President of BUU, gave a welcome speech. He summarized the research results in traffic safety in recent years and gave a keynote speech with the theme of “Theory and Key Technologies of Urban Rail Transit Safety”.

President Li Xuewei presented Professor Monteiro Figueira with a certificate for his keynote speech at the conference. Experts, scholars and faculty and students at BUU also participated in seminars on vehicle design and control, traffic operation and scheduling, and materials and mechanical engineering. Delegates from all over the world had in-depth and extensive discussions with their own research experiences. The conference was chaired by Professor Fang Jianjun from the College of Urban Rail Transit and Logistics, BUU.

Bringing together experts and scholars from relevant fields at home and abroad, the conference focuses on new theories of transport and traffic engineering and their applications, providing a communication platform for experts and scholars in transport and traffic engineering and related research fields to communicate their latest research results and explore the direction of academic development.
