BUU President Lei Xingshan congratulated the teachers and research assistants of the Archaeology, History, and Museology discipline at the College of Applied Arts and Sciences for their role in the university’s talent cultivation.

He was speaking at a special forum on March 1. “I applaud the educational ideals of all our teachers, their positive spirit, and the extensive work they have done over many years,” he said.

“We also have to prioritize our professional ethics and conduct, improve scientific research level and teaching quality through project development, and paper writing; strengthen the construction of the teaching staff, care for the development of young and middle-aged teachers, and integrate the personal development of teachers with the construction of a high-level applied university; further stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers, create a more intense academic and educational atmosphere, and contribute to the construction of a warm and high-level applied university.”

Lei Xingshan emphasized that with the long-term support of the university and college, the construction of the Archaeology, History, and Museology discipline has achieved outstanding results; as an interdisciplinary subject of archaeology and cultural relics, it is planned to apply for a doctoral degree and participate in our application for doctoral authorization units, which is of great significance to the improvement of our education level.

The teachers were greatly encouraged and stated that they would work hard to improve their academic level, strive to reach higher standards, and grow and progress together with the University.
